Darren runs marathons to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to fund research, patient services and education in the ongoing fight against blood cancers.
In January 2009 Darren ran the Phoenix Marathon in 4 hours and 14 minutes and raised over $4000. He is also running the NYC Half-Marathon in August 2009 and the Marine Corps Full Marathon in Washington, DC in October 2009 and is again planning to raise more than $4,000.

Darren can be found running in Central Park in NYC most days as he trains. He will be running the NYC Marathon in 2010 and hopefully the London Marathon. His goal is to run the five World Major Marathons.
