Why do I keep coming back for more?

I was drawn to you like a moth to a burning flame
Unaware that I would be burnt time and time again
Down the path that leads to the glow of your flickering
Fight the urge this time get me out of your labyrinth

Your light was always so bright it hurt my eyes
Now it’s not such a surprise I’ve been hypnotized
I know I’ll wake again hating myself
I was a fool to believe I could trust myself

Why do I keep coming back for more?
Don’t know why I’m standing at your door
Like a kid drawn to a candy store
Whoa-o-o-o-o-o-o I’ll be back for more

I can tell you again that we really must resist
I know that I will fail when you tell me you just insist
You’re a missing piece of a puzzle that I can’t solve
Now we’ve started the game wish I’d never got involved

Your light was always so bright it hurt my eyes
Now it’s not such a surprise I’ve been hypnotized
I know I’ll wake again hating myself
I was a fool to believe I could trust myself

Why do I keep coming back for more?
Don’t know why I’m standing at your door
Like a kid drawn to a candy store
Whoa-o-o-o-o-o-o I’ll be back for more

I’ve been looking for you
You’re not looking for more
Don’t get me confused
I’m not keeping score
It’s not what you think
Got your back to the wall
Come tomorrow baby you’ll be coming back for more

Why do I keep coming back for more?
Don’t know why I’m standing at your door
Like a kid drawn to a candy store
Whoa-o-o-o-o-o-o I’ll be back for more
Why do I keep coming back for more?
Don’t know why I’m standing at your door
Like a kid drawn to a candy store
Whoa-o-o-o-o-o-o I’ll be back for more
